I am going into my 6th year of teaching. I was fortunate enough to begin my journey student teaching in First Grade in Addison. Immediately after student teaching, I covered a maternity leave in Addison, and the following school year, I was hired as a Kindergarten teacher. I spent the last 5 years teaching Kindergarten, and this coming year, I will go back to the beginning of my teaching journey and will be teaching First Grade again! From my experience student teaching and covering a maternity leave in First Grade, I am well aware of how much growth is made during this time. I want to build a classroom library that the students will flourish from and a love for reading, just like me!

About my class
