The students will use the Chrome Books through all of the core subjects. Many of the students have a low tolerance for waiting for information to be distributed on the white board, but with their own Chrome Book they would be able to access information in seconds where they are able to work independently and feel successful with the completion of their task. Secondly, I would like to adopt a reading program where I could start to work with the students on their functional reading level so they are not embarrassed when they read aloud in class. This will improve their self confidence, self image, and of course their reading. Lastly, I would love to construct some writing projects with the students. We do write in the classroom, but sometimes we have students who can not even form letters yet know what they want to write. Having the Chrome Books would allow the students to complete written work without the hassle of spelling correctly, letter formation, and feeling as though they can not complete the work. Chrome Books would help improve the students academic achievements, goals, and engagement 100%.
