Children spend most of their day at school. They need to be comfortable as they learn. Every student is unique and has different needs. I want to be able to provide them with what they need to be successful. Providing students with a place to sit and learn together and comfortable options during independent work will improve their learning experience. Valuable learning occurs during whole-group instruction. My students need a rug for a place to gather, share ideas, listen to stories, and learn. Flexible seating gives students options. It allows them to experiment and find out how they learn best. Making the classroom a place where each student feels comfortable is extremely important. This creates an environment the students take pride in and want to be in!
