Students will be using the Cricut to create visual presentations and posters for the classroom. I believe art is an essential part of project based learning, and the machine will allow them to easily create fonts and art work that can be glued onto their professional-looking posters. The key word is professional. With high expectations and rigor, they will know that details are important when presenting academic work. They will meet requirements and fulfill projects that will make them proud of their achievements. Having a cricut in the classroom will bring out the creativity in my students as well as keep them engaged in their projects. It will also be shared with other teachers in the building that may need to create visual aids to support their students. Please know that your donation will simply go a long way. Teachers share resources, so it is inevitable that other classes will benefit from your donation. You will not only touch the lives of my students but, perhaps of the other children in this great learning community.
