This is my first year teaching first grade and I'm excited to do so! So far it looks as if I am going to have twenty first graders in my class which is amazing. The classroom has many books which is wonderful, but has no technology. With a high population of English Language Learners, it is vital that I provide instruction to the WIDA standards which include reading, writing, speaking, and LISTENING objectives. To provide students with many opportunities to meet their goals and standards, I feel that it would be very beneficial to include a listening center within my literacy rotations. This is where I am asking for your help!
