I teach a class of 19 eager and excited kindergarten students at a title I school in Las Vegas, Nevada. My school has a very diverse student population, representing many different cultures which makes for a very wonderfully rich learning environment. My students are genuinely enthusiastic about learning, especially when presented with the right materials and hands-on activities. Hands-on = minds on! I believe that when you keep the learning fresh by incorporating a variety of materials, they excel in their learning, and become passionate students! Their eagerness to learn inspires me every day. It's such a rewarding and amazing experience to watch my students grow and learn, especially since most of them come into Kindergarten not knowing much. They are an energetic and fun loving group.
