My English Language Learners and my Special Education students will be able to become more independent in my classroom with this computer. They will be able to find images, videos and tutorials to make what they are learning more concrete. This will help to close the gap just a bit more with their peers. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. They will be able to use the computer to support their leaning and complete projects that they are unable to at home. My students will feel empowered to use this technology and take the skills and knowledge in their class to improve their lives and those of people around them.
