Audio books in Spanish that can be used for our Listening Center will make a substantial impact in my classroom. My students will be able to utilize our current Listening Center in order to enjoy audio books in Spanish. Listening to audio books has been proven by research to have multiple benefits for the developing brains of young children. Listening to an audio book while reading can be more entertaining for children and can help them dive deeper into the story. Children can listen to narrators read the story with fluency and expression, which can spark children's imagination. Listening to audio books in Spanish will also enable my Dual Language students to reinforce their Spanish vocabulary previously learned through daily instruction.
