My students would greatly benefit from having new books to look at and practicing new reading skills learned in whole group and small group learning opportunities. The Classics bundles consist of books that children love. They learn three ways to read a book: use the pictures to tell a story, tell a familiar story, and read the words. These books would help them practice independent reading as well as give opportunities for them to discuss stories with the peers. Providing reading opportunities with quality materials has helped my students grow tremendously. Student success is my number one goal each year!
