Students need the opportunity to gather together in the classroom in a variety of groupings. With the addition of the "Red Carpet", students will now have a place to gather. The ability to move into a different grouping gives many students the opportunity to focus. Studio 12 will now have a vibrant, clean place to sit and have math talks, brainstorm writing ideas, and share ideas. Students will be invited to the red carpet throughout the day to be introduced to new concepts in writing and to share brainstorming. During math, they gather to share methods of problem solving and strategies.
