If my project is fully funded, my classroom will be adequately equipped to best meet the needs of all my students, regardless of where each student is coming from. With the extra storage space for materials in the drawer set, students can have the space needed to work and learn that is not cluttered. Also, with the materials readily available for my students, they will not worry about whether or not they have what they need to learn and can focus on learning. Students have many responsibilities and stressors, but I don't want whether or not they have what they need to learn to be one of those stressors. By having things like whiteboards and large chart paper, students can interact with lessons in the classroom. Making sure students are interacting and understanding is vital to student success. Then with variable chair choices for students to use, students have a choice in how they sit to learn, whether that be in the wobble chair or a stool. Not all students benefit from the same type of tool, so having options for students, creates a better environment for learning that can be tailored to each student.
