Headphones in the classroom will enhance my students reading skills. Many of my students lack the basic reading skills and required one-on-one tutoring with an online reading program for support. Every student will be able to focus on their individual’s skills with a personal tutor in determining phonemic and reading fluency in isolation. Many students will be able to utilize the headphones while distracting noise in the classroom. Many of my students are reading at first grade basic reading levels. The headphones will assist with the improvement of reading fluency and closing the three-year gap in reading for my fourth-grade students.
