I am requesting bucket drums. Bucket drumming has become extremely popular in the world of music education. It incorporates rhythm, improvisation, composition, and physical activity! It is a unique way to allow everyone to be a musician. With the funding of this project, my students will have the opportunity to play in a bucket drumming ensemble. They will get to tap in to their own creative processes while learning about percussion techniques. It has been over a year since my students have been able to create music together, and bucket drumming will provide a safe and exciting space for these students to express themselves.
