Having a class set of chromebooks will allow high school students (particularly those with no technology at home) to prepare and complete college-level coursework by using technology, e.g. - Google Drive and Google Classroom. In addition these chromebooks would allow students, teachers, and administration to ensure ongoing collaboration throughout each school calendar year. We would like to purchase the chromebooks to ensure that all students have access to the class presentations and overall work. Because Chromebooks store all files in the Cloud, they allow for faster loading and processing of collaborative information. This will clearly ensure "all" students complete their work. Additionally, the inclusion/utilization of new Chromebooks will allow students to use class time more efficiently and remove any excuses that often are made when technology is not readily available for everyone.
