Thus far, I have personally supplied my students with the interactive materials they need to have an engaging learning environment. As a single mother myself of a special needs child on the Autism Spectrum, my heart is fully there for my students. I would love to be able to supply my students with having additional quality tools to fulfill their visual and kinesthetic learning styles for hands on learning and social skills. With the addition of two I pads, bean bag comfortable seats for flexible seating and independent reading opportunities, and various interactive color coded learning tools, my students needs would be enhanced so they can have their optimum learning experience. With your help, I would be able to further enhance my students' learning experience and classroom atmosphere all the more! My students require additional help in the area of Daily Living Skills such as shopping and telling time. They need to learn the process of purchasing items and receiving the correct change. Therefor engaging role play with the use of a cash register, would provide a hands on experience to model a skill that they need so they can transfer it into their daily lives once they are adults. We would greatly appreciate any donations you could provide to enrich their unique learning needs.
