I would like to get Kindles in the hands of my students. Kindles can be a great learning tool for students, teachers, and parents! The Kindle provides many educational apps and games that will ignite an enthusiasm for learning through technology. Using the Kindle Fire tablet during centers, my students will have differentiated access to materials that cover all curriculum areas: Reading, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Writing. Receiving Kindle Fire tablets will allow my students to access the world around them while playing educational games and activities, reading books, and researching areas that interest them. The Kindles will also be used to create student portfolios. The portfolios will help monitor student/classroom progress that can be shared with parents. Please fund our project!
