This project will give my students a center that they can go to during choice time to build their reasoning and problem solving skills while playing with toys that help children to ask questions, develop plans and carry them out. My students will think that they are playing with the science kits, but really they will be learning to make predictions and then see what items sink or float in water, what different items react to magnets, how things moves, how colors react to each other and magnify things to see their intricate details. The table will give them a place to use the different kits, and the shelf a place to store them. By donating to our project, you will help our pre-K students become inquisitive, creative thinkers, and problem solvers. This project will not only be able to be implemented and used in our classroom this year, but will be able to provide a place to for children to learn and discover for years to come.
