My students love engaging, hands-on activities! With the manipulatives, I will have interactive ways to promote learning! They can manipulate the money and base ten blocks to see concrete ways to make numbers! They can use the beanbags and chart paper to write about what they see! They will have the Magna-Tiles to explore and build creative learning. I have a leveled classroom library that has piles of books, however, my A basket is empty at this time! With these new books, they will be able to build literacy skills even for those that come to me below grade level. I start where they are and teach!
