All of the supplies is to encourage student learning and create a more student-focused learning environment. Having hands-on activities for math centers will create a engaging atmosphere for my students. The printer, ink, and paper will be used throughout the year for visuals for student projects and hands-on activities. In my class students love to use different materials in their centers. Engaging math centers will be created using the math center sets and other math materials listed. Having a class set of lap white boards will allow my students as a class to participate when we are doing math problems. I have noticed in my classroom students love to write on the white board and they seem more engaged in the lesson when writing on something other than paper. The donations for this project will help improve my student's comprehension in math because, as I said before, English is my students second language and they learn better with more visuals and hands-on activities. These materials will help my students tackle math problems and come out on top.
