Our school of approximately 540 students is part of an excellent school district. However, we have a higher percentage of low-income families than the rest of the district. This creates additional challenges that are not present at the other schools. Our school does an excellent job of providing opportunities for all students to learn and experience success. My first graders are passionate, inquisitive, and energetic. They are also the sweetest group of 6 and 7 year olds you'll ever meet. They try their best every day and constantly impress me with what they are capable of. I'm so proud of this group of students and I want to do everything I can to help them continue to grow and succeed.
