We plan to take a field trip to Monroeville in conjuntion with this unit in January. The students will pay for the trip, but I do not want to ask them to buy the book as well. We do not have enough for a class set at the school. Without the books, the trip/unit will be impossible. I have never taught this book, even though I have been teaching for over fifteen years and have read it once per year for the last two decades. I have always dreamed about teaching this classic work of literature, but I need books.
