Children in PreK are learning to share and to cooperate with their peers. Children need to have objects that are new and inviting, yet also educational. These supplies will help children foster relationships with peers through engaging in age appropriate light table activities. They will also be learning to share space and materials as well as hand eye coordination. Among these, they will learn shapes and colors in a new way which will be safe. The most important thing is the children's safety. If I were to try to make a light table, it would not be safe. It's important to me to do it right so that all students have a chance to learn in a safe environment.
