These materials will make a difference in my students learning because they will be reading about real life issues that pertain to science. Reading and using the online component to scholastic news helps incorporate science into reading. When students are able to read about real science they have a better understanding of that topic. Students are also learning reading skills as they are reading about science. I love using scholastic in the classroom and so do the students. It is very motivating for them. It is exciting to see them excited about the material. The online component lets student visually see what they are learning about.
