Hello I currently teach 8th grade and either 7th or 6th grade science. My class schedule has me teaching E.L.L. (English language learners) as well as S.A.S. (School for advanced studies) students. We are located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, We are a school that is 99% minority as well as low income. Most of our students are first generation to this country and are looking to fulfill not only their own dreams but the dreams of their parents. Despite all this we are currently the highest performing middle school in the area. Students come to school not only for education, but for new experiences, role models as well as memories.

About my class
