My students will use their new switches and devices for communication, learning, and fun!! The adaptive technology I would like to purchase for the class can be used in a variety of ways: buttons can be pre-programed with voice output for students to push and "speak" for them! Switches can be plugged into a variety of educational items and toys to teach cause and effect or to just provide good ole fashion entertainment! I would like to set up a "Switch Station" that offers students a wide variety of cause and effect activities that promote autonomy. I envision students working on personal goals, such as reaching out for items or staying on task being motivated by bright lights, sounds and variety of choice!
