My students have never been introduced to the new MakerSpace trend. The materials I am requesting will not only expose them to the MakerSpace but it will also give them the opportunity to stretch their minds and be creative thinkers! Our MakerSpace will inspire students to become participatory learners to uncover their talents, needs, and interests by making, producing, solving, creating, collaborating and thinking. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more. It is my hope that I can help others as they begin down the road of making with their students.
