Most of my students struggle to read on grade level and find little or no support with real world materials for children. I have used newspapers and books, but "Time For Kids" is a great resource that is created with children in mind. I am hoping to encourage understanding of the world and life long readers and learners. As an International Baccalaureate school, it is important to show children cultures, lives, countries and the international scope of learning for all children around the world. Time for Kids has the potential to do just that. Children will have the opportunity to read and apply their understanding of culture and world information. Time for Kids offers students an opportunity to read grade level material, learn skills, and gain knowledge about world events while improving skills.

About my class
