I am asking for Amazon Fire tablets for my students to use in the classroom because technology is engaging for students to use when learning. On these tablets, students will have access to reading activities and math activities that will help enhance their skills through practice during workshop time. Students will also be able to use the tablets to research and create projects using technology. This is a skill they will need for all of their school careers. My students will also be able to use these tablets to share what they have been working on and learning with their classmates and parents. Allowing students to use tablets during centers helps them to be excited and engaged. I will be able to help extend my students' learning and understanding through the use of technology. They will be able to take ownership of their learning and be excited about working hard in the classroom.
