My schools will use these games during guided reading and in tutoring to show my scholars how much fun reading can be! These games will help scholars learn and master the fundamentals of literacy through play. These materials will also teach scholars how to work together, follow instructions, and to always see play as an opportunity to learn. Fifth grade is a pivotal year, and I want to awaken a love of reading in my scholars through the use of games! Growing as a reader can be difficult in upper elementary, and by showing them that it can be fun, scholars will be even more inspired to reach their growth goals.
