My students were so excited when they started seeing the packages arrive. Their excitement and curiosity for all the building toys was fun to see. When I finally got all the boxes opened I could tell that they couldn't wait for our next Building Club Time. \r\n The next Wednesday when we finally had building club my scholars loved the materials. They got to building right away. The Marble Run and the Crystal building blocks have to be their favorite building toys received. Since receiving all these toys my students have not been restricted in what they can build. I've seen so many beautiful castles, buildings and skyscrapers. Students have also used their imagination to create colorful images from their minds.\r\n Through building club I have also noticed my scholars social skills have advanced. They have learned that they can create and build better when they work together.\r\nAgain thank y'all so much for donating the building toys to allow my students to learn through creative play and exploration.","fullyFundedDate":1735345931208,"projectUrl":"project/building-club/8740893/","projectTitle":"Building Club","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mikulec","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9730907"},{"teacherId":9843514,"projectId":8955318,"letterContent":"I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous support of our classroom. The new resources your provided have truly made a difference, especially in our recent painting projects. Using new art supplies, my students were able to explore their creativity in ways they hadn't before. Many of them who sometimes struggle with verbal communication, were able to express themselves through colors and textures. \r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were beyond excited. They were so eager to get started that we dove right in. As well as all the sensory tools have made them extremely happy and cofortable in the classroom. As we move forward, they're excited to continue exploring painting and different projects. The new supplies have already proven to be transformative! The storage bins have provided much-needed organization, ensuring that every visual schedule, communication board, and adaptive activity is easily accessible. With the Velcro dots and laminating sheets, we've been able to create durable, interactive tools that promote student independence, such as personalized task boards and manipulatives for hands-on learning.\r\n\r\nThe students were absolutely fascinated as we introduced these new materials. It's been incredibly rewarding to see their confidence grow as they use these tools to navigate their day with greater independence and a sense of accomplishment.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are focusing on expanding our collection of adaptive activities. We are creating interactive literacy and math activities that are tailored to each student's specific learning goals. The Velcro dots and laminated pieces make these resources both sturdy and reusable, while the storage bins help us maintain an organized space, so students can find and use the tools they need with ease. \r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our classroom is becoming an even more inclusive and engaging space where our students can thrive. Your generosity is making a lasting difference and is helping us create an environment where every student's potential can truly shine.","fullyFundedDate":1732022478629,"projectUrl":"project/stick-store-and-shield-help-our-speci/8950974/","projectTitle":"Stick, Store, and Shield!
