In order to work to their fullest potential, a child should be encouraged to learn in a style that fits them. Differentiated learning is being celebrated each and every day in our classroom, so why not differentiate how the students accomplish their work? Flexible seating options will help minimize learning distractions, while maximizing innovation, creativity, and collaboration. My students will remain actively engaged in learning through flexible seating options around the classroom whether they are doing independent work, Reading Rotations, Math Stations, and/or science experiments. I would love to provide my students with the opportunity to pick a seat that fits their particular need for the day and will allow them to maximize their comfort level in my classroom.
