These materials will allow my students to be able to practice many skills that will allow them to be successful in the classroom and in their day-to-day lives. These whiteboard materials are not only eco-friendly, they are wonderful for keeping our classroom uncluttered and the students engaged. Students will practice their handwriting and word manipulation on these boards, as well as math facts. The boards I have requested are to be used during small group, centers, and whole group instruction times. During small group, students will be able to answer questions and practice multiple problems in a shorter amount of time with less paper used. Students will be able to learn from others as they work in groups at centers, answering questions as a group and challenging each other to grow. During whole group instruction, I will be able to ask for responses from each student by having them write on the whiteboards. The students love this fun and interactive way of learning! The reusable pockets I have requested are intended to save paper and allow students to be able to get a greater amount of practice with math facts. This also helps me as the teacher to print fewer pages of questions for my classes because we can reuse the pages day after day. Both of these items provide a great way for me to check for understanding and know when to intervene because of misunderstanding. Students are also grateful for the ability to use materials other than pencil and paper; they love it!
