In our Public Montessori Environment, 40 creative and hard working students design projects and follow up work. The students create and design projects, then work on them individually and in groups. This student led work is their main fuel for self construction! In the past we did not have the space to store these projects, so much work was lost or damaged, and some projects weren't even able to be started due to lack of space. These sturdy storage shelves will allow the students to safely follow their work to completion and open up worlds of possibility! These shelves were inspired by some work with students in a garage; we realized how important storage and organization are for work in the world at large. So, we thought we should bring the same style shelves into our environment as inspiration and protection for our work.
