Last year I used DonorsChoose.org for the first time, and with the help of many donors, I was able to successfully create an environment in my classroom that allowed my students to express themselves to the fullest potential. With these materials, I hope to continue that environment this year. However, by February I was constantly going to get toilet paper so my students could use it as facial tissues, and students frequently didn't have access to lined paper and pencils. With the restock of these markers, pencils, paper and other supplies, I will not worry about my students running out of supplies for another year. My students will not have to struggle to work on projects and assignments in my classroom. No student will be without basic supplies such as paper and pencils, and with these supplies, I will be able to enable my student to express their creativity through projects and class assignments that allow them to show their full potential. I have very exciting projects planned with the whiteboards, markers, pens, and pencils this year that are going to help connect literature to real life. I am excited to continue my teaching career this year with these materials and am forever grateful to everyone who supports me in any way. With DonorsChoose.org, I hope to reach out to my friends and family to get the support that I need to refill my classroom and help my students continue to be amazing. Any contribution at all will help my students learn in an environment that enables and encourages them to be creative, inventive, and innovative. These students want to learn, we just need the resources to fully do.

About my class
