Welcome! I am blessed to have 30 bright and hard-working students in a self-contained kindergarten classroom. Their ages are from five to six years old. The reading and writing levels of my students range from emergent to grade level and above grade level. Several students have exceptional needs and characteristics, some yet to be diagnosed. The school is located in a working class mixed-race urban community. At my school, all students receive free breakfast and free lunch. My students are loving, nurturing, encouraging, and continuously bring smiles to each others' faces, as well as mine.
