Our classroom Chromebooks will be used for math practice, research and to prepare students for the demands of an increasing digital life. Students will be able to engage each other in their math practice, creating a truly collaborative environment. My students love to “battle” each other online while practicing math. Additionally, we need technology in order to facilitate literature research. My students love research! Lastly, most of my students do not have access to a computer at home, placing them at a disadvantage with computer skills. Practicing these skills in the classroom will better prepare students for middle school and a digital life.
