I teach in a small, rural school of only about 400 students. My Social Studies students are energetic and full of personality. Each of them bringing with them to class each day their own strengths, talents, abilities, expectations and needs. We work together each day to contribute to the learning process for every student involved. And yes, I learn from my students as well each and every day. My hope is to create a cooperative learning classroom environment where Social Studies comes to life. I want to make Social Studies relevant and fun. Most importantly, I hope to create well-rounded citizens who are knowledgeable about the political process, the cultures of the United States and the world.

About my class
