Having a leveled library for my students is something that is so important for them. In order to become better readers they have to have books that are at their reading levels. I want to be able to give these students a very rich experience. Having access to books that are appropriate to my students' reading levels will help them to feel like successful readers. It will allow them to have a love of reading because they will see that they can do it. First grade is the year when reading does become very exciting for these youngsters because they start to see that they can read and are very excited about it.
