Seven hours a day schools expect students to listen and work all while sitting in hard plastic chairs at single desks. The students of today live in a world where this old way of teaching is obsolete. We expect the students to be excited about discovering new concepts and working in groups all while having them sit in rows. This has to change. I don't know about you, but I love being able to find a comfortable place to work that is perfect for me. By donating to this project you will be able to give a group of 4th graders the opportunity to do just that. With flexible seating the students will be able to take more ownership of their day to day decisions, and in turn take more pride in their work.
