My classroom could be described as organized chaos. We learn through many different activities that are engaging and rigorous. My students are often given the opportunities to choose their method of learning, because we all learn different! My main goal is to allow my students to learn through having fun. (Fun = Engaging = Learning) My students mostly come from low income families and do not always have the necessary materials for class. However, they are motivated to learn and to do their best. They have many teachers who care about them here at Roberts Middle School. They are so fun to teach and mentor into young men and women. They are unique and bring something different to class each day. Our goal is not only to learn about our past, but to learn from our past. We have a safe space in my social studies class to talk about current events and voice our opinions.
