Redesigning my classroom through flexible seating will give students options to choose the best learning area where they can collaborate, explore and engage in our regular activities throughout the day. Students will have control of their best learning by choosing the place they feel most comfortable learning. Flexible seating encourages student engagement in class, from seating on a chair, on the floor, or on a rug, students are able to choose how they want to learn and this, in turn, increases motivation and participation. The classroom is the best place to develop practical skills that will serve for the rest of the students’ life. As educators, it’s our responsibility to provide them with tools to be successful every day. Please, help me make this a reality for my kids! :)
