Our classroom is student-centered, filled with students from a variety of backgrounds who are active participants in their learning. Seating is arranged for collaborative, and reflective teaching fostering relationships with each other. Our walls are full of students' work highlighting the creativity and learning, which they aspire to do. We have a library area full of communal seating with space where the class can gather for read-a-louds, announcements, reading, and celebrations. There are also areas such as quiet corners used for individual reading and thinking. Tables are all different and moveable with large pillows near several windows allowing students to find a place that is comfortable for them during different times of the day. It is colorful with a beach theme to find comfort in their environment making it more engaging and fun through hands-on activities experienced by all students. Moving is encouraged
