Having double text books in English and Spanish for our dual immersion students can be a challenge. Organization is always difficult especially since the texts are the same color in English and Spanish. Having these chair storage pockets will make transitions quicker. Students waste a lot of instructional minutes looking through their desk to find the correct language text. We alternate from English to Spanish every 2 weeks, but not every subject follows our ELA schedule. We might be on a Spanish week in ELA, but in English in Writing and Math. Having these pockets will make a huge difference in the students organizational skills.
