My fifth grade students love to learn! They are a diverse group, from varied backgrounds, joining together at an amazing public school with approximately 750 students K-6. I average 30-35 students each year in my class, including students with special education needs to gifted learners. I love to help my learners grow their 21st century skills, preparing them to collaborate, innovate, and think critically. We participate in many hands-on, project-based learning opportunities that require students to move, engage, discuss, and create.
