Flexible seating in my kindergarten classroom means student-centered learning through collaboration, allowing students choice in how and where they learn best by creating a better space for them to learn in. The soft seating options will create a comfortable space where students can focus on learning. A lowered table along with the alternative seating will give students options in where and how they learn in the classroom. This Flex-space furniture gives my students a collaborative space for learning. Collaborative learning improves student achievement. Students learn better when they can move, sit, or stand while working, whether it is writing, reading, or working with other students!
