In the STEM classroom, activating recall can be tricky. If students have not had the opportunity to engage in grade-level assignments or hands on assignments in other subjects there is crucial information missing. A classroom library containing books on the main subjects my students will learn; coding, robotics, and green architecture will help students enter a world where they can gain knowledge of what we will study to help with recall. The books I have selected on coding, robotics, and green architecture will help instill knowledge in my 6th, 7th and 8th graders respectively in a fun and engaging way so that they can work on projects that they normally may not understand.
