These materials will make a difference in my classroom because the students and I will be equipped with what we will need to hit the ground running this school year. We have big goals to achieve and these items will help us ensure we have the supplies we need to get there! We are reaching for the sky (PASSING ALL 3 STAAR TESTS) and with your help and donations for supplies, we will have what we need to get there. Below you will find examples of how we will use the supplies we will receive through your generous donations: *Nameplates will act as quick references for students when they are working independently. *White boards and dry erase pockets will aid in saving paper while allowing students sufficient practice with various writing and math skills. *Place value display set will provide students with concrete examples and practice opportunities to develop a essential foundational skill. *Reading strips will help students keep their place while reading and developing fluency. *Timers will allow students to independently track their reading and math fact fluency. *And so much more!!! Your generous donations are already so appreciated. Your help will provide so many students will valuable materials for their education.
