The use of hands on mathematic and phonics' games is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially when it comes to math. Using games that in corporate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math help my student's learn more effectively for their age. All the things I have chosen will assist in all types of learners. Weather they are listeners or hands on learners these games give multiple different ways to learn math skills. I idea behind some of the games in which I have picked is to also help with fine and gross motor skills to build the muscles in which will be doing the writing later on. I feel STEM type activities will allow more kids to learn in different ways. The games I have chosen include a math Library that consist of four boxes, Begging Operations, Shapes and Measurement, Numbers and Counting, and Patterns and Sorting. Each of these boxes have ten file folder games that make learning more independent. The games come with colorful pieces that intrigue the mind to want to know more. The second item in which I have picked for my students is the "Create-A-Path Magnetic Center. This center brings things to life as kids have to design, build, tryout and succeed and fail. In the times of failing to gives kids the chance to figure out why it did not work right and gives them multiple chances to work through what went wrong or what went right. I love the idea of Math games that teaches kids to be true problem solvers. The next games that I have chosen helps kids to recognize Patterns and Numbers. While play learning kids will create patterns and also make patterns of their own. These games will allow me to have smaller group learning times.
