All students are unique in both their personalities and education; so why not give students an opportunity to choose which learning environment best fits them. Having to sit at a desk all day can be tough for anyone, especially a kid. Flexible seating like Big Joe chairs, wobble cushions, kneeling pads, and balance discs allows students to move around the classroom, and provides them different tools to focus. It is my goal this year to provide my students with different flexible seating options in order to allow them to be more successful in the classroom and in their education. The floor pillows and clip boards provide students with the flexibility to move throughout the room. The wobble seats can be used at students desks and the kneel pads will be used for different level seating available in the classroom. I know flexible seating will make a positive and impactful change in my classroom!
