This is my first year teaching at CCCS. CCCS brings in students from Delaware and Philadelphia Counties. Many of these children have financial hardships and come from difficult home lives. They deserve a learning environment that will help them be successful! I'm currently trying to get together materials and furniture items to help create a learning environment that's conducive to learning. My students will benefit from school supplies, books, alternative seating, and many more items. A colorful rug will allow them to have assigned seating which will allow them to focus because they will be assigned around where they will learn best. For example, a child might need to be assigned a seat in the front in order to focus better. I am sure that with help from donations we can have a very successful year of learning together.
